Workshop

A hands-on session in the atelier near Ghent. You work with your hands, under Reinout's guidance. You leave with a piece you made yourself.

The Session

Small group.
Real tools.
Your own piece.

Each workshop is limited to 2 to 3 people — small enough for Reinout to give everyone real attention, and for the atelier to feel like it should: a private workspace, not a class.

You will work with the same materials and tools as the studio pieces. Maritime-grade stainless steel. Real heat. No simulation.

The session ends when your piece is done, not when the clock runs out.

Before you arrive

Safety Guidelines

You will be working with real tools, open flame, and metal. These are not suggestions — they are conditions for participation.

Tie your hair back if it is long — loose hair near heat and tools is a safety risk.

Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty — metal dust and soot will leave marks.

Wear tight or rolled-up sleeves — loose fabric near flame and rotating tools is dangerous.

Do not wear white — it will not stay that way.

Wear closed shoes — no sandals, no bare feet.

Remove loose jewellery before working — rings and bracelets can catch on tools.
